A family. A foundation. A future.

The House of Washington.

We are building more than a name. We are building a living legacy of love, truth, responsibility, culture, and purpose—one decision at a time.

What this house means

A House is more than where a family lives.

Fifteen years ago, we received the keys to our first home. That house gave our family a place to live. Today, we hold the key to something greater. The House of Washington gives our family a way to live.

Washington × Prensa is the beginning—not the ending. This House exists to preserve what we have learned, honor where we come from, and give future generations a stronger place from which to begin.

The Washington Principles

How we live inside this House.

These are not decorations for a wall. They are standards to return to, especially when life is difficult and love requires work.

01

Truth over comfort.

02

Love is a verb.

03

Marriage is never finished.

04

Focus on what actually is.

05

Seek understanding before certainty.

06

Feelings deserve to be heard.

07

Own your mistakes completely.

08

Leave people better than you found them.

What we preserve

Legacy is not what we leave behind. It is what we build into people.

The House of Washington is a home for our history, our creative work, our family traditions, and the lessons we want carried forward.

We are the first of generations to come. A House that is becoming— not because it is unfinished, but because the work is daily.

The House of Washington

The Founders

Washington × Prensa

The House of Washington began with a union: Jamel Washington and Janice Prensa, married in the Dominican Republic and established as a family in 2006.

Two histories became one House. What began as a marriage became a family, and what became a family is now becoming a legacy.

Honor. Family. Purpose. Legacy.

Our family motto

Built Daily, Always Becoming.

The House is not something we inherit fully formed. It is something we choose, practice, repair, strengthen, and pass forward.
